Ready-to-adapt photographer site with booking, price calculator and client gallery

A demo website for photographers, shown as a London brand photographer's site, that turns visitors into booked shoots: transparent prices with a live quote calculator, a brief that arrives already filled in, local search pages, and a private client gallery for picking selects.

Overview

Problem

Photographers lose time and bookings to the same problems: vague "how much?" emails, briefs that arrive half-written, clients who can't find them on Google, and a separate paid gallery service just to get photo approvals. A typical template portfolio shows the pictures but does nothing to get the shoot booked.

Approach

I built the site around the path a client takes to a booking. Work is shown first and big, filtered by sector, with video next to stills. Prices and usage terms are in the open, and a calculator lets the client build their own quote. Choosing a package fills in the brief automatically, an availability calendar shows free dates, and phone, WhatsApp or the form are always one tap away. Every name, price, project and photo lives in one data file, so the site can be re-dressed for a real photographer in days, not weeks.

Build

01
Live price calculator
The client picks a package, adds extras like extra usage, retouching per image, short video or extra hours, and sees the total update instantly. One click sends the quote to the photographer — it arrives already inside the brief and the WhatsApp message.
02
Booking flow with one tap to a human
"Book this" on any package opens a brief that is already filled in. An availability calendar shows booked and half-free days, and a quick-contact panel offers call, WhatsApp, email or the full brief from any page, on any phone.
03
Found locally on Google
A page for each London area and UK city served, structured data for Google (business details, prices per package, FAQ, breadcrumbs), a service-area map, sitemap and robots.txt — so searches like "brand photographer Shoreditch" lead to the site.
04
Private client gallery
Clients open their gallery with a code, mark their favourite shots, filter to just their selects, and send the selection back for retouching — showing the photographer they can drop a separate gallery subscription.
